The Federation Gallery’s 2022 Works on Paper exhibition is exactly what it sounds like – a celebration of all things paper! Technology and environmental concerns have resulted in a variety of different types of paper being developed, including pulp, fibre, stone, hemp, bamboo, textured, homemade and yupo. Not only is paper used as the primary substrate in this exhibition, but it’s also a prominent medium throughout these artworks in the form of collage and assemblage.
